Hi everyone!
So this guide is going to have two alternate versions of gear that you can craft/obtain (if you aren't running GDN/buying GDN gear. Most of this still applies). The gear that I'm suggesting is for final damage builds.
The first gear set that I am recommending is the gear I, personally, use:
Tiara: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Robe: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Garters: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Armguards: Corrupt (Will or Life-Giving 2) <--These do not have an intellect option. I personally use Will to improve my SA
Heels: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Staff: Victor (Wise 2)
Weapon: Victor (Wise 2) - For this I personally use the Grimiore since it provides more MP recovery, although it does sacrifice a little bit of magic damage and crit that the orb have, while the puppet provides more physical damage.
However, this set requires you to ladder every week, and if PvP really isn't your thing, here is another option. It is the 4/3 Totem/Corrupt gear instead. *
Tiara: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Robe: Totem (Wise 2)
Garters: Totem (Wise 2)
Armguards: Totem (Will 2 or Life-Giving 2)
Heels: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Staff: Corrupt (Wise 2)
Weapon: Totem (Wise 2)
*Side note: this is just how I would be likely to set it up, but any variation would work.
Regardless of which gear you choose, to begin to maximize your magic damage, you want to craft intellect on everything. Additionally, the recommended spark for all equips that are not weapons: HP, Vit, Int. The Sparks I would recommend for weapons will vary, depending on the type of sorc you are using.
For Pyro:
Magic Damge, Agi, Int
and/or
Agi, Int, Fire Damage
and/or
Int, Ice Damage, Fire Damage (Depending on whether you are a hybrid sorc or pure Pyro)
For Ice Witch:
Magic Damge, Agi, Int
and/or
Agi, Int, Ice Damage
and/or
Int, Ice Damage, Fire Damage (Depending on whether you are a hybrid sorc or pure Ice)
*For War Mage:
Magic Damage, Agi, Int
and/or
Agi, Int, Dark Damage
*For Chaos Mage:
Magic Damage, Agi, Int
and/or
Agi, Int, Dark Damage
*As a side note, I do not actually play a mystic at the moment, so this is an opinion based on their attacks, not experience.
Moving on to accessories, you currently have two options available to you: Magenta, or a continuation of your FD Build.
If you choose Magenta's, my recommendation would be:
Necklace: Wise
Earrings: Wise
Ring: Mystical
Ring: Mystical
Personally, I try to get my Wise pieces with Agi, Int, and Vit for boosts to my crit damage, HP, and defense, in addition to the magic damage and defense I gain from the high Int they come with.
If you are going for a complete FD build, you are going to want to use Apoc accessories. So here you have several options; 2 Judgment Apoc, 2 Revelation Apoc, or 2 Punishment Apoc. Each set of 2 provides 122 of FD to your build.
Now, to spark these, you will want different sparks for different pieces. Necklaces and earrings act like your armor does, so your ideal spark would be HP, Vit, and Int. As for your rings, they act like weapons, so an ideal spark for them would be one of the weapon sparks listed earlier.
